Garmin® introduces the ultra-thin, larger font GPS nüvi® 1350 with localized Bahasa Indonesia


 

 

Indonesia/Jan 15, 2010 - Garmin Corporation, a unit of Garmin Ltd., the global leader in satellite navigation, announced new portable navigation device, nüvi® 1350, with 4.3” touchscreen, larger font and icon, junction view and spoken street names advanced feature in Bahasa Indonesia. The widescreen nüvi® 1350 has preloaded maps from Tele Atlas, guides you to the proper lane for navigation.

 

 The latest navigator, nüvi® 1350, with twenty-five percent slimmer than other nüvi® PND’s, you can take it anywhere. With a touch of a finger, you can easily slide the screen to view map details, driving directions, and photos.  Its sunlight-readable high-brightness display ensures you can easily look up addresses and enjoy the navigation even under the sunshine.  You also get voice-prompted, turn-by-turn directions that speak street names in Bahasa to your destination. Lane assist guides you to the correct lane for an approaching turn or exit, making unfamiliar intersections and exits easy to navigate. No more guessing which lane you need to be in to make an upcoming turn. Nüvi® 1350 also supports multi-languages, such as English. The junction view provides clear direction while close to the complex junctions so that you won’t miss any important exits.

Navigation is just the beginning. Nüvi® 1350 saves you gas and money with ecoRoute — a green feature that tracks fuel usage and more. The nüvi® 1350 will indicate speed limit on major roads and highlight your driving speed in excess of the speed limit. To help drivers adapt to better driving habits. Through ecoRoute’s Fuel Report and Mileage Report, drivers can focus on their fuel conservation and find fuel-saving tips along the way.

nüMaps Guarantee for Indonesia:

Garmin also proudly announces that nüMaps Guarantee now is available for Indonesia market since 1 Dec, 2009. With this program, Garmin will provide a free update for a customer who purchases a new nüvi® GPS device if both of the following conditions exist:

  1. The customer registers the new unit at http://www.garmin.com.sg or www.garmin.com within 60 days of the unit’s first use.
  2. A newer map becomes available within 60 days after the unit has initially acquired satellites.
